Critter Container

Summary

The Critter Container is a Unique Building that appears exclusively during the Mega Crab or Mega Turtle event.
When destroyed, it spawns 9 friendly Critters immediately.
The Critter Container has 270 Health.

Generally speaking, the Critter Container serves as a distraction, but only if they're positioned near point defenses like Boom Cannons, or to set off Mines. In undefended areas, Critters can even pick off isolated structures (such as Shield Generators) while the main attack force lays waste to the rest of the base.

The Critter Container is a compact, dome-shaped structure containing several Critters, enclosed by a spherical glass cover. The base is circular with four flat glowing blue supports that fan outward along the ground, giving it a stable base without lifting the structure off the surface. There is a purple ring surrounding the midsection and a black base connecting the container and the supports.

Halloween Mega Crab events may feature a Critter Bat Container. The Critter Bats are functionally identical to regular Critters, but with a few key differences as aerial units.
- Certain defenses (Mortar, Flamethrower, etc) that target ground only cannot attack them, and they will not set off Mines, even though said Mines' explosions can still affect them.¹
- In the past, Bat Critters could not trigger mines but took damage from Flamethrower or Mortar.
- They cannot be hit by Artillery/Barrage, but can still be stunned by Shock Bombs.¹
There also exists a Super Critter Bat which can be released from an Super Soldier Vat.

These Troops can hit Flying Troops if their beam hits them after attacking a ground Unit. *This can not be build by the Player.

The Critter Bat Container is a sturdy structure with a green-tinted dome that houses critter bats. The dome is mounted on a reinforced base with orange and black supports.

¹This will be reviewed in the next Halloween Mega Crab, as the special features for aerial troops have now been changed.
