Summary

• Deployable Turret is a Temporary Gunboat Ability that is occasionally available for players who have an Armory level of 8 or above, and automatically scales to its level.
• Deployable Turret launches a stationary turret at a targeted location, which will draw fire from defenses, set off any mines it contacts and fire upon any targets until its destruction, prioritizing defenses above all else.
• Deployable Turrets are not affected by Grapplers (can be damaged, but not pulled), Medics, Dr. Kavan, Crystal Critters, Remote Defib/Second Wind and Flares.
• Each use costs 5 more Gunboat Energy than the previous, with a starting cost of 5 Gunboat Energy.

Offensive Strategy

• Due to its low DPS, Deployable Turrets are best used to distract enemy defenses. It is at its best against Rocket Launchers, Lazor Beams, Grapplers and Shock Launchers, all of which can easily ruin an attack otherwise. In certain cases, the Deployable Turret can actually last far longer than Critters against area defenses many other alternatives and survive an entire battle, since it won't move into the range of other defenses.
• Deployable Turrets can outrange anything a Tank would, such as Flamethrowers, or be placed within blindspots to freely fire upon its target without fear of retaliation.

Defensive Strategy

• Strong point or area defenses like Cannons, Boom Cannons, Doom Cannons and Machine Guns can deter Deployable Turrets from being placed in certain locations.

Trivia

• The Deployable Turret's behavior is shared with those launched by the Turret Engineer Prototype Troop, as well as the Tank.
