Summary
- The Incinerator was a Prototype Troop that behaved similarly to the Scorcher and Microwav'r, constantly changing targets and setting them on fire with its omnidirectional attacks.
- When destroyed, the Incinerator's death explosion launched several fireballs into the sky. They damaged all nearby troops & buildings, along with a residual burn effect.
- An Incinerator constantly experienced a burning effect similar to the one caused by a Flamethrower, which caused it to slowly lose health over time and persisted until it was destroyed.
- The Incinerator was unlocked for players who had an Armory level of 13 or above and started 1 level below the Armory level. It could be upgraded using Proto Tokens gained from events.
- Each Incinerator costs ten Gunboat Energy to deploy.
- The Incinerator first appeared in Warships Season 13.
- On July 1, 2024, it was replaced by MegaScorcher.
Differences compared to MegaScorcher
- The Incinerator required 6 Gunboat Energy, while the MegaScorcher requires 10 Gunboat Energy to be deployed.
- The Incinerator had a housing space of 14, while the MegaScorcher has 17, allowing two Incinerators to fit into one Landing Craft.
Visual Appearance
- The Incinerator was identical to the original Scorcher with very few differences. Notably, it lacked the pilot light and the associated tube, but had sets of exhaust nozzles fitted to the sides of its turret producing bright sparks.
Offensive Strategy
- Incinerators could be used in a very similar manner to Scorchers, and it was usually beneficial to use them if their stats exceeded the player's Scorchers' stats. Notably, Incinerators didn't cost any energy to deploy, boasted slightly higher damage than Scorchers at relative levels, could attack more buildings at once and usually had just the necessary health.
- The self-damage was usually negligible, given their extreme health.
Defensive Strategy
- Incinerators had similar weaknesses to Scorchers, being large units vulnerable to heavy defenses like Cannons, Boom Cannons, and Doom Cannons, while Shock Launchers, Shock Blasters, and Shock Mines were effective at stalling them.
Trivia
- You could have had a maximum of 16 Incinerators in a complete set of fully upgraded Landing Crafts.
- Incinerator's in-game model was identical to the Scorcher, differentiated only by their flame color. Despite the cover art, the liquid fire they spewed was a mixture of blue and violet (reused from Hot Pot), rather than orange.

^ After an Incinerator has been attacking a building for a total of 2.5 seconds, the building catches fire and begins to burn which does additional damage aside from the Incinerator's Standard DPS. This is why the DPS displayed in-game is approximated.
* Buildings that the Incinerator hit continue to burn for 5 seconds after the Incinerator stops firing at them. The "Residual Burn Damage" column is the total damage that the building takes during those 5 seconds while an Incinerator is not actively attacking it.
