I added a trivia point about villagers running into an Engine room when an attack starts. Dragon undid it. I undid his edit and reworded it because it actually happends, and left a message on his wall not to block me. If I do get blocked, please tell him it actually happends because he's probably going to delete the message instead of replying.
King Dragonhoff has been being weird lately. I made a bad edit, got blocked for vandalism, asked him why I was blocked but my messages got deleted instead of answered, and deleted my page on the warship guy for "spam", no other explination.
Hi Magma! I am the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Wiki. I am here to help you and the community out with anything you need. Additionally, I will be the liaison to full-time Fandom staff. Please if you ever have any questions regarding the wiki, editing, styling, infoboxes, templates, etc, don't hesitate to ask me, take care!
I want to edit Boom Beach Wiki on the russuan language, but I don't understand how I can add new pictures (for example, to my new page about S.I.M.O.). If it won't be hard to you, please explain me how do to it. Great thanks!
I mean that I want to install restrictions of editing to my pages. In your Wiki there are traffic lights that show these restrictions. Thanks for fixing the Sculptor page, I think that my browser had failed.
KD's edit was a 'rollback' edit, which does not appear on the wiki activity (it also causes the relevant edits prior to the rollback to disappear from the log as well). However, you can see this by looking at the page history
I would presume it is due to the excess amount of links. A rule of thumb he quotes is that only one link to a particular page per section is needed, so if you linked say Statues once in a section, you won't have to do it again in the section (linking Statues again somewhere else in the page is still fine, just probably not in that section, unless the section is very long)
Sections - summary, trivia and others? I have just understood that overloading pages with links - bad idea. But why this is bad? Or it's simply unneseccary? Also I have just asked to KD's message wall the same question.
By the way, I didn't see in Wiki Rules paragraphs about links. I can add some information about this if you need)
And the last question at the moment: could I create the blog about my Task Force or it's possible only on my user page?
I would consider excessive links rather unnecessary as they take up unnecessary space in source code. It could be considered better if the page loaded a little faster (especially if the page is very, very long).
I would not say that people are really strict on how many links to put, but so as long as "not too many" it should be fine. That's why I never really considered it necessary, besides it is something that everyone can debate on.
also I would suggest seeing KD's blogs about editing (search up his blog posts on this wiki) for making color text and whatnot
Император МД wrote: I have one little problem: I did a link on div class banner-main with using a source editor. This link displayed on visual editor, but when I try to save edits, link doesn't display on my user page.
How did you do color nickname and avatar illumination? It looks really cool) If it possible, I want to do the same)
I don't seem to see any evidence of a link on the div class banner-main thing. Did you attempt to use the double square brackets (or single square brackets) on the text to be linked?
As for the latter, colored nicknames and avatar illumination generally only occur with staff members, however you can color your own nickname in text the same way you color any other text. For instance, [[User:Император МД|<span style="color:red;">Император МД</span>]] produces a link to your user page in red.
However, to have the color nickname and avatar illumination throughout the wiki, you would need either to be a staff member (achieved through tons of hard work) or modify your own personal CSS (that no one else will see)
Recently I've simply removed this link) but now all works... I don't know why because I've did the same things... and no, I didn't forget to use these brackets. In short, banner-main link is working normally now.
Then, how much work I need to do to get it?)
By the way, how can I revert edits? I leave the message on King Dragonhoff wall (I think you know).
And the last question for today: what should I do to do the center position of banners?
Get what? If it's the staff member positions, you should not ask me. You should instead ask KD on that matter.
The "revert edits" thing is a feature that rollbacks and higher ranks have. Nonetheless, you can still perform a pseudo-rollback by simply choosing the edit you wish to revert to from the page history, and making a "blank edit" from that edit entry.
