It was a long while ago, but they've replaced the old Hammerman 10, 20 and 45 bases with Dr. T's bases (for 10 and 20) and Gearheart (for 45).
The old Hammerman bases were around back in my earliest days of playing the game, and for some time after the Artillery had the present blue look. I believe it happened on the same update that added Hot Pot/Grappler
Below is a list of all NPC base names as found in the text files. They are listed in alphabetical order, and each letter of the alphabet has a drop-down for all bases in it. Anyone can use this as a checklist for Blackguard Base adding.
Base names in bold are already present in the database. Base names in italic are player-created bases (at least, those that are listed as such).
Some bases may share names. In this case, a number in parentheses will denote the number of bases sharing this name. For example, True Love (2) means that two True Love bases exist, at least in the files. If at least one, but not all bases with the same name are added in the database, then another number will precede it. For example, Boom Base (1/2) means that two Boom Base bases exist, but only one has been added to the database.
It is possible that bases (in the database) may be listed under other names than what is listed here. It is also possible that bases listed here (including some bases that share names) do not actually appear in the game, but it is uncertain whether either of these points can be proven.
Any other notes for a certain base name are written in a help button. Mouse over the button for more info.
I typically don't push on Mega Crabs anymore. The one time I did in May was purely because I wanted to
I've already retired my first max account (and dropped 10 DBDs on it for good measure) and plan to retire the second soon (probably around the time of the August Crab) out of sheer boredom
Besides, I'm spending most of my time that I play Boom to focus on my newest "challenge" account. On this account I challenge myself to progress as far as possible using only level 1 troops, and I'm currently at HQ10 on this account
Diamonds are a bit easier to get in this game and there's no real purpose of saving them up but even then it might not be so good to gem troops, unless you're really in a rush. Half the time (depending on your casualties) you can wait it out completely
Who knows saving diamonds for an upgrade would be better.
Remember that we still have another three more prototypes to be included in the table afterwards. The table as it is won't hold up to this without being unnecessarily wide or forcing horizontal scrolling
Only a big bunch of five prototypes were added in the last update, and they'll show up sooner or later. The last two prototypes before that were added in late 2016.
The game only gets about 4 updates a year, which is not a lot at all. Some of these updates do not add much, such as the one before the five prototypes last year, which added only one hero, some Blackguard Bases and some bug fixes
I upgraded my sawmill and and mines, I gemmed them both (since they only had 1 minute left and I had to go) and started upgrading my sniper tower and rifleman. When I came back, nothing was upgrading. I wasted 3 hours.
I found a bug of my own with the sky shield today. Battle just won't end automatically if any weapon hit the shield at all. Cost me some convenience on Hammerman today as I had to either wait out the remainder of the battle on 4x speed or reload the game manually
I wish to inquire about a few aspects of the game created by Supercell named Boom Beach. I am currently HQ Level 12 and I am enoying said game very much, since I unlocked warriors I have been using them with Dr. Kavan (*Crystal Critters*) Consistantly. My defense is lacking but it is not my main focus. My statues are decent, but could be better. I wanted to ask you what I should do. I noticed that at HQ 12 you unlock level 12 landing crafts that can hold 16 spaces, enough for two tanks. Should I prioritize upgrading said landing crafts so I can start using mass tanks with Dr. Kavan as a sort of early game Tank Medic? Or would a different strategy prove more efficiant.
Heal per second of Kavan is considerably low compared to Tmed. With HPS of no more than say 50 it can't really hold up against splash defenses even half as well as 2 boats of 3 Medics (which do at least 120), let alone against other single target defenses like snipers.
Mass tanks is very expensive on energy, and your best effort at healing can come in the form of using the Crystal Critters. But that can also prove very expensive so you'll only be able to use it so many times in an attack.
But upgrading Landing Crafts to 12 is not just for tanks. Heavy-Zooka would have a great benefit from it too, which would be extremely useful in, say, operations.
I think the best option would be just to upgrade the Landing Crafts, in case you find mass Tanks more effective than what I have described here, or if a different strategy would prevail. There's almost nothing wrong with upgrading Landing Crafts in the long term.
