No worries at all. I meant to respond but ended up having to log off quickly.
You had actually included the protection template already; all the was required was to actually change the protection itself. The template makes the appropriate stoplight appear based upon the protection status.
In terms of the links, you are correct, they were working before. And they would have continued to work had I left redirects to the plural version. But I generally don't do that unless there's a need to (and with as few pages as we have I don't see the need for tons of redirects or disambiguations). So I just had to change a couple of links to use the singular version and it was all good to go again.
I think we should have a category possibly called "Statues" that includes the pages Statue, Sculptor, Power Stone, and Power Powder. Many users are asking questions on one page about info on another of these pages. I also thought about adding a little part to each page that directs them to read more on these pages with links to them. We should probably also remove Power Stone and Power Powder from the category "resources" because this seems misleading. What do you think?
Originally all of those pages were part of several categories (Statues, Sculptor, Power Stones). It certainly didn't make sense to keep all of them so I removed them all, especially since Power Stone and Power Powder were already part of the resources category. I'm fine with adding a single category for all four pages (I wish we had something better than 'Statues' but Supercell has never referred to a more generic 'Sculpture' or 'Sculpting' term in-game). And if we do I definitely would eliminate resources from Power Stone and Power Powder.
Oh, the category page itself? Ah, okay. Well let's put something useful on it and then I will restrict it to administrators only.
I made a few changes to the wiki-navigation. I created a 'Fundamentals' heading which has the gameplay basics in it. Then comes 'Enhancements' which has statues, power stones and power powder in it. I also moved 'Gunboat Weaponry' to the buildings/troops section for a few reasons (buildings/troops was very short as it was and gameplay was getting quite big, gunboat weaponry is a deployable/upgradable battlefield resource just like troops, and gunboat weaponry is the BB equivalent of CoC spells which are in the buildings/troops menu over there).
Hey, could you please check the Wiki To-Do List thread. There are some items on there that can only be completed by admins. You know I'm a perfectionist, so these things are starting to bug me. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Hey there. We've gotten very little feedback either way (just you and me). I was thinking of either highlighting that thread or a thread specifically about the mines page to solicit some additional feedback.
