Strategy
- The real threat posed by Scary Mortar is its ability to disorient units, causing them to walk into the range of other defenses or Mines, making it dangerous to any formation, as thanks to its high range, its projectiles can easily reach and catch them all in its AOE.
Appearance
- The Scary Mortar is very similar to the max-level mortar. It has a gray and orange steel frame resting on a darker metal base.
- The shell fired by the mortar resembles an orange pumpkin with a head.
- When the shell hits the ground, a purple cloud strongly resembling Dr. T appears over the battlefield.
Trivia
- This building has the second lowest damage per shot of all defenses.
- The Scary Mortar has a menacing laughter SFX played on projectile detonation.
- In prior versions, deploying additional Flares would nullify Scary Mortar's special ability on affected troops, though they can still be afflicted again.
