Summary

• Seeker Shot is a Hero Ability that can be used by Cpt. Ruddero in attacks.
• Seeker Shot causes Cpt. Ruddero to spawn Seekers.
• Each shot costs 5 more Energy than the previous, with a starting cost of 6 Gunboat Energy.

Offensive Strategy

• In Warships, this ability is vastly inferior compared to using Seekers individually, as doing so allows many more to be fielded without consuming excessive amounts of energy. Even in other formations that do not rely on Seekers, Seeker Shot contributes very little due to spawning only a few at best, with the main attack force often providing most of the DPS. In the Home Base, where Seekers are not available, the ability contributes even less and is not worth the bother as opposed to combining Smoke Screens with Warriors, Laser Rangers or Zookas.
• The Seeker Shot ability is only useful if the spawned Seekers cannot be quickly removed by enemy defenses, though other troops are able to exploit such opportunities to equal or greater effect.

Defensive Strategy

• Seeker Shot is fairly easy to counter, since any defense that count target air and ground near the Headquarters can and will deny the use of the ability entirely. As Seekers prioritize the HQ above all else, they might not even survive the trip to their target.

Trivia

• Despite being introduced on Warships first, Seeker Shot mentions the Headquarters, rather than their Warships equivalents.
