Summary
- The Shield Pulser is a Unique Building that appears exclusively during the Lunar Crab event.
- As soon as the battle starts, Shield Pulser provides 1,000 shield points to all structures within a radius of 8 tiles. Shield points rapidly degrade over time with a maximum duration of 10 seconds and cannot negate excess damage.
- This ability is disabled if it is stunned by a Shock Bomb/Tiny Shock/Shockaneer/Stunner.
- Ice Statues will increase its health, but do not influence the amount of shield points provided.
- The Shield Pulser is internally considered a Prototype Defense, and therefore cannot be targeted by Cpt. Everspark's Universal Remote ability. Interactions with Remote Hack are currently unknown.
Strategy
- In most assaults, the Shield Pulser merely serves to slightly prolong the lifetime of all affected structures. 1,000 Shield Points may sound insurmountable in theory, but the fact it drops quickly over time means protected structures can still easily be overwhelmed with brute force alone.
Appearance
- Shield Pulser has a distinctly festive, ceremonial design. It consists of a large, glowing red/gold lantern held together with ropes, suspended from a dark red arm. The arm sits on a square platform with gold accents and a red trim, the whole structure resembles a Japanese torii gate.
