Summary
- The Super Soldier Vat is a Unique Building that appears exclusively during the Mega Crab event.
- Each Super Soldier Vat is named after the unit within, and has the suffix "Vat". It shares the same base health value as its occupant. Once destroyed, the unit is released and joins the player's forces for the rest of the battle with a few notable attributes:
- They are not affected by Flares, Crystal Critters, Second Wind/Remote Defib, Magma Statues, Medkit, Medic and Dr. Vitamin.
- They do not count towards casualties if they are destroyed.
List of Units
- Rifleman: Has 10,000 health and greatly increased attack rate.
- Heavy: Has 20,000 health.
- Warrior: Has 20,000 health, and freezes buildings on hit, slowing their attack speed for by 75% for 20 seconds
- Medic: Has 15,000 health, and increases the attack/movement speed of all affected units, but reduces their damage by 50% for 10 seconds.
- Grenadier: Has 15,000 health, and launches grenades in groups of five, dealing increased damage.
- Critter: A Critter Bat with 20,000 health.
Strategy
- The Super Rifleman, Heavy, Warrior and Critter Bat are good tanks, especially for lower-level players who do not have access to the Scorcher, Mech or Pvt. Bullit.
- The Super Medic is particularly effective for units with a lot of health, which increases their speed.
- The Super Grenadier is good at clearing mines but also perfect for destroying defenses from long distances due to its high blast damage.
Appearance
- Super Soldier vat consists of a small, cylindrical glass vessel with smooth, transparent walls and a semicircular top. It is completely enclosed by a purple circular base around the bottom, with yellow/black hazard stripes at the entrance. There are two copper pipes coming out of the purple base and continuing behind the glass vessel. The vat is completely filled with a turquoise liquid in which a dark shadow of a unit can be observed.
Special Variant: Surprise Cake
- A special variant of the Super Soldier Vats was present for the Anniversary Mega Crab 2025. While functionally identical, Surprise Cakes have a consistent health value of 20,000 and are not named after their actual payload.
Appearance
- Surprise Cake is a pink layer cake which has a slice taken out of it along with a half-burned white candle sticking out of its centre. There is a layer of pink cake at the bottom on which sits a layer of white icing. On top of the icing is another layer of plain cake and on top of the cake is another layer of white icing with blue pellet decorations inside. The top of the cake is layered with pink icing and 5 blue sugar pearl decorations.
