Is there any BB player that believes with only 3 possible choices, going 0 for 9 is random? My last 9 Dark MP attempts...6 low level GBE( I have a 39 already), and 3 low to mid PSCs. I've been told by BB folks how badly I need a RRMP to really help myself but the sculptor seems to think otherwise. I'm no gambler, but I'd bet even casinos give better odds than this system. I've heard from TF teammates about their frustrations w/ the sculptor. I just wanted to throw it out there for a Wiki response. Thanks!
Ok. That makes sense. I'm not a game designer either but couldn't there be a point in the program that tells the game "If by a certain level of attempts with options A,B & C, no statue C has been made, make one." Theoretically you could make Dark Stone statues for years and never receive a single RRMP by the way this system is set up.
So, MagmaHound, you seem to have the math figured out so what are the odds that I've now gone 0 for 10 attempts at getting a RRMP? That theory of never getting one is getting stronger!😁 That makes 7 GBEMPs and 3 PSCMPs for the ten attempts. Got the usual BB sunshine blown up my backside about it but I'd like to hear another opinion. I tried to tell them it's not the randomness of the statue's power, it's the fact of there being only 3 possible outcomes and only 2 ever show up. That's the hard part to accept!
Actually I've received 6 lower GBEMPs, 1 equal to what I have and 3 PSCMPs that, I'm sorry, I just didn't see ANY difference in how many PS's I received. It's just frustrating to be told by BB people how important a certain statue is then doing what's required only to get squat!
That 39GBEMP is the first Dark MP I ever made and I am thrilled that I got it. When I scout other bases I check out their statues just to see and I've only seen a 40+ twice. I freely admit that I approached the game wrong. I had no idea it was as big as it is or that there was so much information available to players. I thought a balanced Offense/Defense approach was best and made base decisions on that premise. It wasn't until around mid 40's that it really became difficult to upgrade and my upgrade decisions didn't pan out as I'd hoped. Now I'm digging out of a hole getting my troops where they need to be to take all 7 levels of Dr.T but I'm not quite there yet. That's why a RRMP would be so helpful and to a point, necessary to keep upgrading.
I have a request if you can do it and it's cool if you can't as well. My TF is Our Filthy Crew, #890099YV. I know you are slammed with all you do but if you get a chance would you look at my base and give me any feedback you choose. My vault is upgrading to 18 (Thank you Mega Crab!) and I've got Tanks going up to 8. I want to upgrade my Armory, Gunboat and LCs next with the sculptor asap after level 50 and HQ20. Does this make sense (w/ troop upgrades as well) or would you upgrade defenses first? Thank you in advance!
I don't think I have to look at your base to decide. If I were you I would go straight for the offense upgrades without a second thought.
So get to HQ20 ASAP.
If it's a faster way, you can upgrade your defenses to get there quicker. Lower-leveled buildings give more XP per hour than higher-leveled buildings. With the obvious exceptions of Shock Launchers and Statue Storages.
